In GNU Emacs 21, ‘global-font-lock-mode’ controls the font-locking.
Note: it is assumed that all files in a project are compiled into the same library.
vhdl-mode support configurations if they are hierarchical (one configuration per design unit). A flat configuration (i.e., one big configuration for the whole design unit hierarchy) is not supported.
