emacs-shellfm is a tiny package designed to provide Emacs interface to Shell-FM console player.
Latest source code for emacs-shellfm is in Mercurial repository at http://dzhus.org/hg/emacs-shellfm/ so you may get a recent version with the following command:
hg clone http://dzhus.org/hg/emacs-shellfm/
You may also download a snapshot tarball.
See also project page on Ohloh.
emacs-shellfm supports nearly all features Shell-FM has:
- Listening to global tag radio, group radio, personal playlist and recommendations, as well as «Similar to artist» radio and fans of artist currently being played
- Recommending current track, artist or album to your friends (with names completion)
- Tagging of current track, artist or album (with tag completion)
- Loving/unloving, skipping, pausing playback, banning current track/artist, querying for track info etc.
Installation notes and usage tips are in README file (an OrgMode one actually) in emacs-shellfm source.
Emacs-shellfm needs Shell-FM version 0.7 or later.
