defaultcontent Fill new files when visited.

    The purpose of this package is to provide a default content for files. It extends the autoinsert package
    from Charlie Martin and took the idea of expanding parameters as in auto-template from Kevin Broadey (as
    suggested by Cedric Beust). It also allows to specify the initial position of the dot.
    Whenever an unexistent file is visited, its initial content can be specified by a parameterized template
    stored in the directory dc-auto-insert-directory or by explicit evaluation of some specified forms. A
    single undo removes all this initialization.

defaultbanner Update banners or headers when files are visited.

    It is usual when distributing a set of files to give them a constant header or banner (sometimes with a
    pleasant drawing). Some packages do that with some parameters (autoinsert, auto-template, defaultcontent
    and others, all in LCD). But very often, one wants to change the banner and it is a pain to consistently
    update all the files of a distribution to reflect that new banner. This package addresses this point and
    is compatible with the defaultcontent.el package.
    Whenever a file is visited, its banner is automatically inspected and updated if needed. A hook is run
    that knows about the various possible banners (antichronologically ordered), identifies which one is used
    and replace it by the newest possible. When you decide to change the banner you just add the new one in
    front of the possible banners and that's all!
    The interactive function db-check-file allows to run the hook even if not installed. Another function
    db-check-every-file updates all the files given in argument.

fracc French accent towards Latin1, TeX, BibTeX, HTML.

    This package is based on Marc Shapiro's ftex-mode.el package. It has been extended over time to provide
    various kinds of accents for TeX, LaTeX, BibTeX (they're not the same), HTML, ISO latin 1 and Mac.
    The basic purpose of this package is to provide an uniform way to type accents (for instance e followed
    by ' to mean e acute) and to convert the intended character in conformance with the local conventions of
    the buffer. HTML codes accented letters in a way (although some servers accept ISO 889 letters), BibTeX
    (at least mine, does not support accents at all and expects them to be wrapped inside { }), etc.
    This package also takes into account ligatures such as oei and cedillas. It is entirely driven by tables
    specifying contexts that, if followed by an accent, have to be modified. Are currently supported the
    following configurations:
      e'   [aeou][`^]   [iu]#   c,[au]   oe[iu]    ~[:;?!]
           
    for (La)TeX, BibTeX, HTML, ISO 8859 and Mac encodings.

foldingo A minor folding mode with mouse/menu/face support.

    A fold editor package for Emacs is somewhat similar to the outline mode and allows you to hide/show parts
    of your file. The following package supports explicit folds (delimited by {{{ and }}} within comments)
    and implicit folds (any definition bigger than a given number of lines). This package gives you
    additionally the opportunity to choose the associated faces for open/hidden folds, they can be opened/
    closed with simple clicks. It also works for Scheme, C, Caml, Emacs Lisp and others.
    Contributors: Works for Emacs 19.29 and Xemacs (thanks to Christoph Ley) with add-on from Georg Greve and
    improvements by Dan Nicolaescu, Nadim Shaikli, Michael Brand.

supertab Enhanced TAB in Lisp-based modes.

    The purpose of this package is to enhance the behavior of TAB in Lisp-based mode. Usually TAB only
    indents the current line. After loading this file, TAB will perform different actions depending on where
    it is invoked. Consider the following two lines:

    a single TAB wherever on first line will indent it, a single TAB wherever on second line will indent it:
       /-----------------------------------------------

       |       wek)
           
    When a line is correctly indented, TAB within the line becomes meaningful. a TAB between foo and (bar
    hux) will leave a single space:
       /-----------------------------------------------
       |(foo (bar hux)
       |       wek)
           
    a TAB after (bar hux) will swallow all the following (useless) spaces. a second TAB after (bar hux) will
    swallow the newline and the a second TAB after (bar hux) following spaces before wek:

       |(foo (bar hux) wek)

mousymacro Run macros via simple mouse clicks.

    The purpose of this package is to allow to run Emacs functions with the sole help of the mouse. For
    instance, when indexing a book, it is easier to index words by simply clicking (or dragging) on them
    rather than moving the dot towards them then running \C-x\C-e (as one of possible choice). With
    MousyMacro, you just define what clicks mean and then it is up to you to click wherever you want. Usually
    the left button means "run the currently associated macro", the middle button means "stop MousyMacro" and
    the right one allows to choose with a menu the macro to be associated to the left button as well as other
    actions such as Undo! Left and Middle buttons can be programmed.

todo A mode to support ToDo files containing scripts or mails.

    A TODO file is a text file that contains text, mails, shell, urls or EmacsLisp sentences. All of them
    have to be handled, sent, handled, executed soon or later. This package analyzes such a file and proposes
    to perform the relevant actions. For instance, I edit my TODO file when diconnected at home with the
    myriad of things I should do when connected at my office. Of course, this mode will be obsolete when
    every place on the earth will be continuously connected!

sigadapt Select signature depending on mailee.

    This package allows when composing or sending a mail to select a signature appropriate to the mailee (as
    mentioned in the `To:' field). This package requires the use of the marvellous BBDB package from Jamie
    Zawinski <jwz@lucid.com>. An extra field in the BBDB database registers which signature to use. If no
    signature is mentioned or if you want to change to the already current signature then the package offers
    you to choose and record a signature among a set of predefined ones.

genconv Table-driven string conversions.

    This package performs various conversions using tables. There are currently tables toward ISO Latin1 from
    html accentuated letters (you know the kind of &eacute; stuff), from quoted printable sequences (the ugly
    =E20 things) or from (La)TeX (things such as \'{e}).
