XTide is a substantial program for tidal predictions based on harmonics. xtide.el is a little interface to the XTide program output for viewing in an Emacs buffer. Get it from

M-x xtide shows a graph in a buffer, and other output styles can be selected too. One of the best features is a tie-in to CalendarMode, the T key is setup there to show tides for the selected date, like S does for sunrise or M for phase of the moon.

tcd-format.el sets up a FileFormat to decode XTide .tcd tide constituent database files. It’s meant just for having a nose around in those files if you don’t have the source handy. Get it from

(For Emacs 21 you’ll want XmlCoding to get the right charset in the “substations” part.)
